Where? We are on the coast of Castellammare del Golfo in the North West corner of Sicily. Within 45 minutes drive of both Trapani and Palermo airports. For those who want to explore a bit and not spend all day at the beach, we are within easy reach of interesting and beautiful places such as the Greek temples of Segesta and Selinunte, Erice, San Vito lo Capo and others, just have a look at the Sicily travel guides or on the internet.

We are in the countryside, 4km from the tiny village of Scopello and the Tonnara. 6km from the unspoilt nature reserve of Lo Zingero with it’s many footpaths, small coves and crystal clear sea www.riservazingaro.it and only 2.5km from the white pebble beach of Guidaloca.

What do we offer? We have 1 triple room and 2 double rooms all with a private bathrooms. The 3 rooms are simple and comfortable with a fan and a mosquito net on the window. The price includes breakfast (plenty of homemade bread and jam, biscuits, seasonal fresh fruit, juice and unlimited coffee and tea)
The house is in the countryside, there is a quiet, relaxed, informal atmosphere. There is plenty of outside space, a big shaded terrace with a great open view and hammocks under the olive trees. We offer the use of a fridge, bbq, washing machine and space to hang out washing and beach towels.

Prices. During June, July and September the cost of a double room is 50 to 55 euro. During august it is 55 to 60 euros

Your will have your own key to the house so you can come and go as you please.
You will need a car to stay here. There is private off road parking.

Who: we are Mike and Katrina, and English couple who came to Scopello in 1971 as part of a group of art students involved in a cultural exchange. We never quite forgot this magical place and 7 years ago we changed our lives and moved here to live ‘la dolce vita’
