The Province of Trapani is an alternation of mountains (Mount Sparagio 1,100 mt, 1,000 mt Monte Inici, Mount Bonifato 825 mt, 751 mt Monte Erice) and large flat areas (Val di Mazara) along the beautiful coast, fronted by West Egadi Archipelago, south of the distant island of Pantelleria, very close to the African continent.

The region has numerous but short courses of the water.
`The economy is based largely on` for agriculture, particularly on wine production (many of the wines, like those of Marsala Pantelleria and Alcamo, are famous throughout the world), fishing and fish trade, which have as their core Mazara del Vallo, but also on various industries (processing of agricultural products and fish conservation, building materials, shipbuilding, wood, paper, etc. ...). Castellammare del Golfo, Erice (Science City) and Calatafimi Segesta to recall historical tourism (Western Roman Empire, the decisive battle between Garibaldi`s troops Bourbon), natural beauty, the tourist attraction there is also heavily pursued by numerous places of interest Archaeological including:
