Excursions Mtb Extreme Alcantara The A.S.D. MTB Extreme Alcantara was born in the province of Messina, in the municipality of Francavilla di Sicilia, thanks to the idea of ​​a group of sports, nature, travel and hiking enthusiasts.

The sectors included in the vicinity of the river Alcantara of the homonymous Fluvial Park, in fact, lend themselves by their very nature to be explored "on two wheels", along a vast series of tracks, trails and itineraries of all kinds and difficulties.

If this consideration can be obvious and well known to local bikers, used to grind kilometers in this district, the same can not be said for those coming from outside or for those who, in the past, have limited themselves to visit the famous Gorges of Larderio or dell'Alcantara (main tourist attraction in the area).

MTB Extreme Alcantara focuses on the enhancement of an agonistic dimension of mountain biking, taking advantage not only from already existing nature trails - and well adaptable to various types of competitions - but also from private structures specially designed and prepared to host such events.
